Nice one! I have the one with G-10 scales made to look like duck cloth. Ended up getting mine for $27 when a regional chain (Magic Mart) went out of business after over 100 years. I remember seeing that thing for 4 years, and liked it, but was never able to afford it. They kept marking it down, and yet still no one wanted it. In fact, it was the last Case they had, just a week into the closing sale. Strong springs and half stop, and the Wharncliffe blade is perfect for what I do with it. Not to mention those G-10 scales are tough and have a lot of grip.

That one is a beaut Scott. I am a Wharncliffe man myself. I bet you put that one to good use.

Yeah, same tin. But did any of those ever come in a box? I haven't seen any.

I'm going out on a limb here and say they only came in the tin.

Pre-War Schrade Cutco muskrat with gum fuddy handles (like on a Boker). I think this was the Hawbaker version, after studying the broken blade at length. At $14 shipped I am very happy with this knife and it should make a dandy one-spring sheepfoot combo.

I picked up these little darlings this morning. Not much to brag about as condition is not good for the most part. There are some interesting items that will bare some research.
A kukri with a Jewish looking star is not something with which I am familiar. Both bayonets are nice. The Case knives mounted on the board are in horrible condition. They look like they laid in the Gulf of Mexico for about a month.

Nice work, Ray! I see a Schrade stockman in the middle of that pile I've been idly seeking. Is it Walden or Ellenville? That barehead bone jack might be the belle of the ball - what is it?

Sure seems to be a real pain to find some of those vintage bayonets with original (or even a functional and fitting) frog on the sheath. I imagine the ones from my oldest bayonet examples (early-mid 19th) have long since rotted away.

Thanks. The Schrade is stamped NY, USA and is number 881. It isn't in very good condition but you are welcome to it. PM me and we'll talk price. The longer bayonet is marked Remington but dated 1913. How can that be since they didn't go into the knife business until 1920 or so? Maybe it was made for the 1913 model military rifle? The other bayonet is a Wilkinson. Also in nice condition.
The wildest thing in the batch is a big mid-east knife in a sheath but in actuality it is two knives setting side by side in the sheath.
The bare head jack is a KaBar.

Here are my 2 finds for the weekend.
Imperial Circa 1945 as the can opener says Pat Pend. The blades on this are almost full. It took a wicked edge in no time.
Craftsman 95066 the blades are n this are pretty full. Only problem is it looks like a 10 year old tried to sharpen it with rocks. A little time on my Arkansas’ and blades are nice and keen

$10 well spent for some EDC knives.

I went with my wife to a "gathering" where she set up to sell some of the dog collars she makes. Low and behold, right next to her, a girl set up that had some pocket knives. Most of them would have been really nice ones if there had been any blade left. Most were sharpened to death.
BUT, this one was only $30 so I figured I could take a chance it might clean up nicely. And it did....

A German made "Indian Head"... recon that is politically INCORRECT to say such a thing?

Some of today's finds that are worthy of a pic...

I bought myself a couple of Christmas presents.

1st is a 1990 Cattaraugus Sleeve Board Whittler it was made in Japan commissioned by A G Russell for the Knife Collectors Club knife. Not sure of the blade steel but this knife's fit and finish is as good as I've ever owned IMO on par with customs.
Second is a CRK Mnandi with bog oak inlays and S35V steel.
3rd is a GEC 990118 Wall Street 440c steel and a lockback.
