Interesting day at the flea market and hopefully tomorrow will be even better. The owner of the flea market had just loaded in a bunch of old knives and priced them at $2 apiece or 3 for $5. Most were priced about correctly but these three tripped my trigger.
First was an old KA-BAR trapper that has definitely seen better days.Lots of sharpening on the master blade(and the tang is worn a bit on the blackside causing the blade to wobble longitudally when open)and both bone handles are damaged but the shield is still hanging in there!The handles will be used to repair other knives and it will get some new plastic ones and be used as an EDC.
The Ern pen knife with corkscrew has a broken secondary blade but the master is like new and I love the handles.
The real gem is the L.F.&C. Universal grapefruit knife.Appears to have a silver plated blade with French ivory handle.
Another booth and I find this three piece kitchen knife set in a box that is handmade! Blades are convex ground and done nicely with sculptured wood handles.The price:$2.50!
Even better is in conversation with the vendor she says she has a whole box of knives at home(some automatics)and is bringing them in tomorrow for me to look at with an idea to purchase. Stay tuned for an update tomorrow.

Well I went back this morning as soon as the flea market opened to check out the knives I heard about yesterday. Turns out the,"switchblades" were modern Chinese assisted opening knives that might sell for $10 new and the rest were either Pakistani or Chinese refuse........EXCEPT for one.
A Robeson Mk2 in it's original sheath.Some idiot had decided to attempt to sharpen it with a grinder luckily the grind marks are not that deep and I'm in the process of removing them now.The price was $10. A nice addition to my accumulation as I didn't have a Robeson Mk2.

I picked up this Imperial EZ open jack last week at the local antique mall. It is not pristine, but a good user.

It is bone handled with the tang stamp Imperial over Prov. R. I. which I believe is the 1936-1952 marking?

Wow that is a gorgeous knife. Those scales are super. You will certainly have a dressy pocket with that one in it. That one is a head turner.

Picked up a couple of Victorinox at a gun show in Shipshewana Indiana on Saturday. One is a used Floral, the other is a new Walker. On the drive home today, I bought this Buck 119. Paid too much for each and every one of them. I'm not a bargainer.

Pretty cool pick up Jerry. In 50 years you can sell them for a big profit....oh, wait a minute.....never mind.

Jerry, I have one of those floral Victoriinox in my pocket right now. It is a great knife for carrying in your Kneepants around the house. I assume they are all chisel grind.

I have several of them and all are chisel ground and extremely sharp.

Old Cuttler great looking knife looks pristine on my phone. Jerry knice haul, love those SAKs, the florals have a nice solid snap as well as being sharp. I've got a hawkbill on my watch list now.

Been hitting up the walmart clearance knives recently. Got this one today. Gerber Sharkbelly on clearance for 12 dollars. Made in America. 2.3 oz. Going to carry this one this week to see how I like it. If nothing else will make good gifts. Thanks for looking.

A good user AND a good looker, OC! That looks to be some nice Rogers bone and the old Imperials have some world-class carbon steel. I'm a little envious of that pick-up, sir.

Can't say I see anything wrong with a USA-made folding knife (especially a Gerber) at that price point, woodwalker. Nice find! Let us know what you think about it.

Thanks doglegg!! Haven't had any luck at my local flea markets or antique stores latley so I was at wally world and they had a few on clearance at crazy prices. Got a Buck Ascend LT for 15 dollars and the Gerber for 12 dollars. They had a Kershaw for 7 dollars and a SOG for 9 dollars. They said they have these clearance knives when the new ones are coming out. I am more of a traditional knife guy but thought what the hay. I need them like a whole in the head but being a knife guy yourself I guess you probably understand.

We were able to spend a couple hours at the Webster, FL flea market this morning.
I finally found a Winchester meat grinder, been looking for several years, not to use but for the Winchester logo. I believe it was made by Griswold, I've got several other brands, Keystone, KeenKutter, American, Universal, Rollman and now I have a Winchester!

Edit: I just noticed my fat belly showing up at the bottom of the picture!

That flea market left you with quiet an array. The meat grinder is new to me with Winchester on it. I guess that would cover both ends of the hunt. That Queen is pretty special too. Don't know why but I always like fruit knives. Your fruit knife looks as if it has a swell center.

dogleg, you're right, the Schrade NY USA SS700 is referred to as a swell center knife.
