Swiss Army Knives with that pruner/hawkbill blade are awesome, that little blade will cut just about anything. I have an SMKW SFO, the Master Gardener from 2006, but that model you show (Picknicker) and the Outdoorsman from the 1970s were the only regular catalog models to have it in the 91mm frame--about three or four can be had with it in the 93mm frame, but will likely have to be ordered from a European dealer, as they're not in our catalog.

It's amazing that it isn't knackered up at all, most from that era look no better than a Klein hawkbill from that era--been through the wringer.

Found this'un at the little flea market yestiddy, gonna use this jessy as a yard knife.

Just got back from a week and a half with my youngest son and his wife in Des Moines Washington, a Seattle suburb. Found these 5 at a garage sale there. I first offered 10 for the five but we finally settled on 15. He had a couple of straight blades but with out a tang stamp. I should have got those too. I liked the little green one as it had a tang stamp I am not familiar with. Thornton. I liked the Parker Edwards cause I thought the scales were pretty, and the melon tester cause I don't have one.DSCN4492.JPG[/attachment]

And here are the other 2, a couple of old Schrades. One missing some scale and the scale cracked on the other. Some fancy file work on the last one.

Also while there I found a little Frost canoe in an antique shop. I don't have a canoe pattern and I like the different colored scales on each side so my Son put down the $20.00 as a Birthday present. Now it is worth a whole lot more than $20 to me.

Flea market find. I believe that he bought it new as he said had had it about 32 years, and did not ask if he bought the sheath separate or if it came with it. Case XX USA SS 9 Dot (1981) Laminated Wood 6265 SAB Folding Hunter Knife Case leather belt sheath. 5 1/4 inches long Large blade about 4.5" long.

Here's a Case XX 6265sab I just picked up. Not what I normally acumlate, but the price was right.

Found a small knife bonanza today at my favorite antique store.
An Imperial Barlow in decent shape.
An Autopoint two blade ad knife with a screwdriver/cap lifter secondary blade.
What I think is a two blade metal manicure knife with some type of cigarette lighter that slides out. Has a wick and what appears to be a flint attached and is marked Stainless Austria. Looks like it was Italian made(possibly by Latama).
And the grand prize: A 4 line Camillus senator with sunken joints and jigged bone handles(small piece missing near the center rivet).
Total price: $11.50 for all four.

Ray, have you no guilt ? Great finds at a fantastic price.

Knives I picked up over the weekend. From the North Star Blade Collector's meeting today I got these four; A 4 blade HS&B peachseed bone with a bar shield, a Marshall Wells Waterfall pen with birdseye rivets, a IC Co. green swirl harness jack (probably a very early Imperial), and a ivory handled T Charlton, Sheffield with fancy bolsters. Goins dates it early 1900's but I suspect it's considerably earlier than that. On the way back home I stopped at an antique shop and found three more knives: a Robeson red bone 622730, a Ariel picture knife (dogs and sailboats) and a Simmons Keen Kutter 1365 1/2 ebony with a concave sheepsfoot blade. The two lockback hunters (a Gerber and a Browning 650) came from a rummage sale on the way home Friday for $3 each. The white thing is a alligator jaw bone letter opener one of my sons gave me Friday night for my birthday. He was pretty sure I didn't have one. The whole pile was a under $150. ____Dave

I second that Dave I haven't been on the hunt much but I couldn't pass these up for what I stole em for Buck 301 for which I never owned,and since I have Grandies another U.S.A. made fishing knife never hurts.one of my Grandies will earn the 50'N.R.A. marksmanship award.

Daddy gave me these two yesterday on Father’s Day. Old Solingen Boker jumbo Congress (missing the shield of course) and a little Camillus 40 half whittler. He knows I love a good HOK. I had already given him a new SAK Spartan. So it was like a knife swap between Dad and me in Father’s Day.

Brought home 4 knives from central Florida.
A 6445R CASE XX with red bone handles.
A Camillus electrician (TL-29 type) wooden handles, short line stamp, I think 1946-'50.
A Camillus Marlin Spike, CAMILLUS over STAINLESS over USA. Have no idea on this one's age.
A Camillus 65, unsharpened, 197X-198X as per AAPK charts.
Going to clean them up with a rag and some Mothers and then do a little more research. I feel like the Case maybe a good one.

I bought these two Camillus with boxes/papers for $10ea. Now to do some research as I'm new to this knife stuff.

I also bought these two Remington knives for $10ea. I don't think they are very old and I can't find much info on the yellow one.
