Yes, and yes, I am aware I have ruined any "collector value" by using and sharpening them, and letting the blades patina. I don't own a safe, so I have no need or use for Safe Queens.
I'm not worried about them losing "collector value", because they were all gifted to me. I will never sell them.
What my heir does with them (presuming they are not in my pocket when they close and lock the lid just before planting me) is up to him. If I don't take them with me, then I hope he will enjoy using them as much as I do.
I currently have three:
828318 Dixie Stockman (Jigged Bone)
852211 Harness Jack (#24 of 35 numbered, Burnt Stag)
and a 141122 Barlow (Teak(?) covers.
The 852211 and 141122 are my EDC this week. I've also carried the Dixie Stockman several times since I received it a couple years ago.
I was also gifted an 06, and a 61. They were not for me. The 06 was/is way too small. The 61 is a Congress pattern, which I find very uncomfortable in hand. I gave them to a couple people who liked them. (The 06 was my high school graduation present to the house manager's eldest daughter.)

I don't know if you've ruined the collector value on those afishhunter. The thing is, that Harness jack in stag will still sell for several hundred used like it is and that's much more than it cost new so it's increasing in value as we speak and appreciating big time. I appreciate seeing them, that is a beautiful knife. That would be prized by many collectors of older GEC and you don't have to worry about lack of demand. And I hear you on the heirloom thing. Hope you dont' sell it off, that's a rare and beautiful piece. It will be coveted by many a collector for it's entire lifetime. Hope you keep it and enjoy it, as they should be. Great piece, thanks for showing. I love seeing them.

I’ve got a quite a few GECs in the user drawer, but I like a wide variety and enjoy the selection process of what to carry each day.

Always appreciate your compliments, I-man…you’ve got quite the spread, yourself! It’s kind of an eclectic mix, something for just about any occasion. When I pick one out for the day I try to imagine what my knife needs may be and go with something that fits. Occasionally, I pick a couple to carry…just to be prepared

I imagine that group would fulfill any needs and any occasion. Beautiful group. I love that stag Talon, the Northwoods EZO, the Freemont, the just about every one. What is that cool Barlow with the "N" on the bolster, that wouldn't be an original Northfield would it? Beautiful, same with the Diamond Edge, the Charlie C diamond trapper. I could go on. Sweet surfing through that group picking an EDC I can tell.

) Makes me want to get out some of my GEC safe queens just to carry around (but not to use...that's what the second backup knife would be for) Good to see your G. Sakai mid-lock getting some pocket time too.

Beautiful pair Bomba, That M&G Appaloosa bone gets better looking every time I see it. Aging weeeeeeeeeellllll.
Stropped a few in the EDC rotation to get the edges back in shape. Mostly GEC with a couple Case, a Robeson, Voos, and a Schrade thrown in. Love this steel, EZ to get hair shaving again.

The Voos has got to be one of my all time favorite knives.
The bone on those is always super nice!

This 25 has got to be one of my all time favorites.
25 is such a great pattern.
The Wharnie blade is super useful
The drop point blade is super cool and in my opinion much better than the pen blades you sometimes see.
The smooth Appaloosa bone has some sweet color and character to it.

This one has been jumping in the pocket a lot recently and I just put a laser edge on all three blades so it’s a joy to use. Even had an occasion to use the awl this past week as it was intended on a loose belt.
