Just pulled this out the mailbox, a GEC Cherrywood half congress with 440C steel and half stops. She's number 21.

Wow, I can see why you would buy that Col.Coon cutmyself! Those are pretty hard to find even here in TN. One of the last of the real Coons IMO.

JW...thanks, yes they are maple. I have only seen this maker stamped on gentleman and pen knives. The history is kinda vague.
