All About Pocket Knives

Yesterday morning, my trip to the post office produced this multi tool pocket knife. This multi tool pocket knife was in a very small group or lot of pocket knives that I purchased. It now becomes my latest example to be posted under this topic or thread. I did NOT purchase the group or lot of pocket knives to obtain this particular pocket knife. However, it did turn out to be a keeper. It did get added to my general, "foreign born", pocket knife accumulation. It is a KORIUM, two blades, six tools (a can opener, a cap lifter or bottle opener, scissors, a punch or awl, a file and a corkscrew), 2 3/8" closed (not including the bail), multi tool, pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "KORIUM (over) JAPAN" The main blade does have a WEAK half stop. The main blade does have an OK opening snap. The main blade does have a GOOD closing snap. The secondary blade does have a WEAK half stop. The secondary blade does NOT have an opening snap. The secondary blade does NOT have a closing snap. ALL six of the tools open, close, and function as designed. Overall, this multi tool pocket knife is in VERY GOOD condition. This pocket knife did NOT require cleaning at all. I just wiped it off.

Here's a tiny Maussner, Germany, 4-blade with a corkscrew , screwdriver, and a punch. I've seen little antique perfume bottles with corks that this might work on but I think it's likely a novelty piece. J.O'.

This morning, my visit to the post office produced this multi-tool, advertising, pocket knife. This multi-tool, advertising pocket knife was in a group or lot of pocket knives that I bought. It now becomes my most recent example to be posted under this topic or thread. I did NOT buy the group or lot of pocket knives to obtain this particular pocket knife. But, it did turn out to be a keeper. It did get added to my general, "foreign born", pocket knife accumulation. It is an UNBRANDED, two blades, two tools (a foil and wire cutting blade, and a corkscrew), 3 1/4" closed, multi-tool, advertising, pocket knife. There are NO remains of any maker stamps, markings or etches, anywhere on this pocket knife. There is NO country of origin indicated, anywhere on this pocket knife. I am 99.999% positive that it is from France. The main handle side says nothing, it is blank. The other handle side says, "CHAMPAGNE - GERARD DE RECONDO" The main blade does have a SOFT half stop. The main blade does NOT have an opening snap. The main blade does NOT have a closing snap. The secondary blade does NOT have a half stop. The secondary blade does NOT have an opening snap. The secondary blade does NOT have a closing snap. Both of the tools open and close with no problems. Overall, this multi-tool pocket knife is in GOOD condition. This pocket knife did NOT need any cleaning at all. I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.

This is more of a cork screw with a knife than it is a knife with a cork screw.

This is the Lyrebird made by Koi Knives out of Australia. The foil cutter knife has a wicked serrated edge...I can see that thing drawing blood at some point. I'm still getting used to the lever element and figuring out how to best deploy it on the bottle neck or top....it's a bit different than my Victorinox cork screw.

The scales are G10, the bottle opener and pivot pin are titanium, and the rest is Sandvik.

It is a W.M ELLIOT & Cᴏ̲, one blade, one tool (a corkscrew), one tang stamp, 4 3/4" closed, lever lock, "Deer Foot", pattern or style of pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "W.M ELLIOT & Cᴏ̲ (over) AUSTRIA" This is my third "Deer Foot", pattern or style of pocket knife. My other two, "Deer Foot" pocket knives, were both previously posted, under this topic or thread. The main blade does NOT have a half stop. The main blade does have a GOOD opening snap. The main blade does have a GOOD closing snap. The corkscrew opens and closes, with NO issues. Overall, this pocket knife is in VERY GOOD condition. This pocket knife did NOT require cleaning. I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.

The main blade front tang stamp says, "NOXIN (over) ROSTFREI (over) STAINLESS" The main blade back tang stamp says, "ERN (over) SOLINGEN (over) GERMANY" The secondary blade front tang stamp has the "CROWN & SCIMITAR (over) STAINLESS" The can opener front stamp, is the letter "R" The main blade does have a WEAK half stop. The main blade does have a GOOD opening snap. The main blade does have an OK closing snap. The secondary blade does NOT have a half stop. The secondary blade does have a VERY GOOD opening snap. The secondary blade does have a VERY GOOD closing snap. ALL four of the tools open and close, without issues. This pocket knife is in EXCELLENT condition. This pocket knife did NOT need any cleaning at all.
I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.
