Thank you all again for your prayer support, it means so much!
Tomorrow Alyson gets a CT scan of her liver to see if the chemo has had any effect on the cancer. We are praying for it to show the cancer is gone. But even if it is worse, God is still on His throne, He still rules all of creation, including Alyson's body!

Dale I just said a prayer before typing this. What time is the scan tomorrow?

The CT scan was this morning at 9:00 a.m.. we won't know the results for a few days. I will post an update when we find out what the results are. We certainly appreciate all your prayers!

UPDATE & PRAISE REPORT
Alyson had her CT scan on Wednesday and her blood count was up enough that they could do chemo on Thursday.
Friday evening she got a voicemail from the oncologist saying that the results of the CT scan was very good. All three tumors on her liver have shrunken significantly and her lymph nodes are also shrinking!

Praise the Lord!

Praise God and may He be glorified. That is very good news but now is the time to step up the prayers, let our Heavenly Father hear from all of us on Alyson's behalf, asking His for complete healing.

Dale this will be a good report to all the "Prayer Warriors" in our Sunday School class tomorrow. God Bless my friend and give Alyson a big hug from all of us....

This update warmed my heart, Dale. I pray that things continue to trend in a positive direction for Alyson!

UPDATE 2/9/23

We visited the doctor yesterday, he said Alyson's is anemic and her blood levels are too low for chemo this week. it has been two weeks since her last chemo session and he wants her to take three more weeks off of chemo. then they will do a CT scan and see how she is doing and do one more round of chemo and then put her on a pill.

The doctor is very positive that the chemo is working and that she is getting better. She is feeling a bit better, especially the more time elapses and the chemo gets out of her system. She is having a little bit less pain than she was, but she is still very weak and has very little stamina.

I know a lot of you are praying, and we certainly appreciate that! I wanted to let you all know what's happening and that your prayers are being answered, although sometimes the answer is slower than we wish it would be. God is in control. We are not. He will do it in His timing!

Thankyou for the update, appreciated by everyone here, but still must be hard for you to sit down and type an update. Strength to all of you.

Thank you for the update Dale. Yes God is still in control but it is so hard for us to remember and accept it sometimes. Our prayers are ongoing daily for Alyson and you that God will continue to strengthen you both and give you peace.
