Some pearl 4 blades, which are my favourites.
1) Thomas Renshaw & Son exhibition piece with original leather case. Fileworked blade spines and guilded back springs inside and out. 3 1/2” closed. Pre 1891
2) George Ibberson lobster made by Fred Osborne (signed liner) in 1937. Pick and corkscrew on the backside. Unused condition. 3 1/4” closed.
3) IXL George Wostenholm with intricately fileworked blade spines and inner back springs. Has name and 1906 engraved on the bar shield. Pre 1891. 3 1/2” closed.
4) Needham Brothers Repeat. Unused condition. Pre 1891. 3 1/4” closed.
5) A. Wright & Son with fileworked blade spines and back springs. I believe 1950s. 3 1/8” closed. Unused condition.

I fully agree with Mike's assessment.
If you use a plain background in a light color the details, like the filework will be better shown.

A few more, a stag Joseph Rodgers jack, one of these days I have to take better pics of it, a Wostenholm hawkbill in stag an a George Furness Barlow. The English cutlery companies used fantastic stag.

This thread certainly puts my own knives into perspective, humble.
Here is a 3 1/2" Lock Back Whittler marked "XLALL/Parkin &/Marshall/Sheffield". LG4 dates this manufacturer at 1770-1910.
This knife is a good example of the overall affect of buffing: makes everything equally shiny and removes the 'soul' or 'presence' the knife possessed when finish was original.
At first i thought it was a split spring whittler but close inspection shows it to have separate springs for the secondaries. The shield is marked "Thos. Proctor" which is close to my name "Procter".
It is pre 1891 but by how much i don't know if there is a way of finding out. Were there knife catalogs in the 1850's ?

Very nice to see a Furness barlow with so much blade left, they are usually pretty used up.
