A tree and a flower are different. The word tree refers to the complete plant whereas a flower is only an organ of a plant. Some trees produce flowers (angiosperms, i.e., maple) and some do not (gymnosperms, i.e., pine). Flowers are usually grouped together on a stem and are adapted for sexual reproduction. The flower is not an entire plant but an organ formed by some plants for reproductive purposes.

LOL...nah, no GPS. Byt they're not always straight, either

Funny you joke about though...we did use GPS for spray rigs and fertilizer spreaders when I worked on a turf farm. Not needed so much for granulars, but it sure made the liquids easy if the sun wasn't right to see your tire tracks.

Finally got the rest of my vegetable garden planted. I’ll try to remember to post another picture in a couple of weeks after the seeds have sprouted. Lots of flowers blooming now too.

Yellow Plum tree.

The prickly pears and barrel cactus are blooming here in Texas. I found this little barrel cactus in the woods.

Each of the prickly pears has a small pile of beetles wallowing around in each flower. I googled them and most of them are "Kerns Flower Scarabs".

My brother and his son started planting the garden yesterday with 48 tomato plants. Last year my dad planted around the First of May and frost hit. He thought it killed the 50 plants so he bought 50 more. Turned out we only lost 2 plants when all was said and done, so we had an abundance of tomatoes.

The second picture was taken last August when the tomato plants (on the left and right) were taking over.

Looking good! Been raining here nearly every day (and again today) for the past two weeks. High temps near 80, lows around 70. So the grass is growing! And growing! If it doesn’t dry up soon I’ll have to use a chainsaw to cut it.

I was going to mention green thumbs bh, but doglegg beat me to it. I find that my few plants do better when I talk to them.
