DM11 – I hope you have a hazmat suit and a gas mask. ::nod::
I love the POS exchanges but it seems like every year we have a couple new people who don't take the warnings seriously and think they really don't need the hazmat suit or they really don't need a gas mask.

Thanks Mike. Linnea's daughter lived in the Phoenix area several years ago and named their son Payson. Yes after the town of Payson. ::undecided::

OH My
I drew the Orvet

I gotta re-think the whole approach now.

I have a box around here someplace with some knives that could have a chance to live again in the hands of such a master mechanic.

Your package should go out tomorrow morning.

Jerry or Phil, I address you because you both on the POS Exchanges in recent years, do either of you know if we have ever had an international participant in a POS exchange before, aside from Canada?
I think Eustis may win the prize for launching and retrieval of a POS the greatest distance?
Inquiring minds want to know…
I thought I'd start with the two best minds on AAPK...

Dale I do not recall anyone from that far away participating in previous POS Roundtables. I believe Eustace takes top honors for distance. ::handshake::

For distance

Iron Hoarder -- England -- 2012
IMBand -- Alaska -- 2012

QTCut5 -- Hawaii -- 2015

Those are the only years for which I have records that anyone participated who was outside the lower 48.

Reverand I'm sorry it had to be you, but somebody has to deal with that smelly pile and I'm glad it's not me any longer :D

Expect the worst come saturday if usps is on time. I hope you have a pump since that's the only way to get the old steamin' pile out of the box safely, do not touch with bare hands!

I guess I had become kind of used to all of them, they resided in my shop. Must have killed my sense of smell. This afternoon I walked into my shop and thought I was in the wrong place because it didn't smell like it used to. Our dogs came in and started sniffing the air and then growling at me until they got closer and recognize me.

Oh well the dogs and I may not know quite where we are for a day or two until we regenerate some more POSs, but I'm good with that! Getting started already on next year's POS Exchange!!!!

Jon, I started pulling some knives out already but I've gotta bring home the industrial-strength gloves to really start digging through my POS box so I don't run the risk of sepsis. I'll be aiming at getting a nice care package   out to you Saturday but it might not go out till Monday, and by then they may be more inclined to ship it in a hazmat disposal unit than a postal truck... ::paranoid:: Keep a nose out for it... You'll probably smell it long before you see it. ::rotflol::

While you...you poor boy...got my missile- um, I mean missive!

Please excuse the general messyness inside the package. I had to throw stuff in from a distance. I think something tried to bite me.
Your postal carrier will appreciate the efforts I took to make the package odor free, at least from the outside.
There are a couple of extra treats, besides th POS’s. Enjoy.

I mailed it through Canada Post and didn’t get tracking as it would have cost twice as much. According to the receipt, it did go via air, so hopefully it should be pretty quick.

Quick, but not painless... ::paranoid::
