All About Pocket Knives

Top is a old Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett.
Bottom is a 1972 Case XX

Here are a few old Keen Kutter whittlers I dug out. I'm hoping that my picture taking abilities have improved enough to show these knive's beauty.

msteele6, holy smokes, that is a batch of beauties. I realy like the swell centre with the square bolsters and the spear master blade and ebony handles in the first photo.

Thanks for the kind words MB and Danno. Danno, I love that swell center pattern myself, however, a confession, it's not marked Keen Kutter but rather Simmons Hardware.

Heres one for ya guys,she ain't no beauty but I 've never heard of a Thomas Fenton before all I found was Sheffield 1797-1919 Anyone know any history???

Here is a Friedmann & Lauterjung 4" closed whittler. The knife is really sleek with the sunk in joints. The crimped bolsters remind me of a big whittler made by Remington. No cracks or chips in the ebony even after all these years and use. Someone took care of this knife for sure.

Prop wood handles (never understood if it's real wood or what kind of wood)

Great knives in this thread, my favorite is the H Boker gunstock whittler on page 1.
