I just picked up this Utica, check out the etch on this one. I have never seen a Utica with these handles never mind this etch.

Really neat one Galvanic, what nice handles! I especially love the history told by that etch, a fantastic and rare piece.

Nice one MB. A very bold, official etch! I really like the look of the LFC scouts. Although I'm not always a fan of imitation stag, these knives always seem to be well suited in it.

I don`t like the handle material either, but I will say this, they are the highest quality scout knife, hands down, of any other company that ever made them. The fit, finish and all quality materials such as nickle silver liners, coined edges, etc. The other companies don`t even come close, no wonder it took me so long to find a nice one, they sold very few of them, where as Remington, for example, sold millions of them, today the Remingtons in excellent condition are still "A dime a dozen"
