Any luck with that one I sent you pictures of?

It's had handles replaced I think.I know there has been some work on it. It's still a nice knife. Another rooster comb.

A Field Progress (blades look like the last Camillus I posted )

Again, thanks Jerry I need all the help I can get acquiring these.(All who can help are appreciated)

Roger and John my humble thanks,it's fun to share.

John here's some of the horn covered farmer solo. She has a couple blemishes, but that doesn't detract from the beauty of those horn covers. They may be my favorite horn covers of all time!

I suspect her parts are all pre WWII,even the covers, which most Lockwoods I have seen have newer covers(I think??),although the parts are original factory. She has that golden age patina all over.

Another Lockwood(one of the 4 pictured above, not listed individually). It is stag with the rounded bolster, instead of the squared look. Both are rat tailed,as was common on most all these in early farmers jacks. There are a few exceptions. The only two I have are IXLs( I forgot I have a Cattaraugus),but I've see NYKs,Cat,Saynors, and J Rodgers. The Cat is pictured inthe 1st page of this thread. It has a different frame.

Counting the bad and the good ,old and new,Dimitri I have 32.Probably 10 of which many would not deem collectible, but I like comparing them all to try to learn something new.

I could not believe the hospitality of Bret and Kathy, amazing people.I don't know how Bret ever caught Kathy though :) . Thanks guys ,and they showed me some amazing knives, rare jewels.I enjoyed myself, should have stayed another day.

I was so tired that afternoon I forgot to take any pictures,I hated that the most.

I enjoyed meeting and talking to Galvanic.Mike has some amazing knives also.

I posted this one in the Horticultural Knives thread because of the relativity it had with the previous posts there.I think it belongs with it's relatives here though.

I finally got around to posting this one that a friend of mine in Europe found for me. Ich bin Ihnen sehr dankbar.

I call it a French farmers jack. I t measures right at 4" and has a fierce pruner blade, and a mighty sheepsfoot? Stephan Theirs stamped on blade with P.T.T.73 on tang ????Any guesses or info on P.T.T.73
