Crab season starts July 1, but I don't really need a nice knife for cleaning crab, as you just use your hands and brute strength to tear the carapice off (not to mention gloves and care, as them bad boys have an attitude when you try an' get aholt of 'em, and they pinch hard enough to draw blood, even with gloves). That's a fine PB collection there, Barry. I've not yet gotten anything in PB, but the great pics in this thread have certainly pushed me in that direction.

Barry, are you trying to corner the market on those in the top row or do you just not want anyone else to have any but you?

Me too Barry. That would have suited me just fine. The "lumberjack" spear isn't very practical but the knife sure does look good.

Jerry; it's funny how those things multiply! The first one I got (11) was sent in error, but I decided to keep it. Then I began to like it so much I ordered another, and another, as three is a good number. Then I accicently won a couple on feebay, and, well there you go! I DO like the large PB slabs better than the smaller patterns, though. Anyway, I'm not going to buy anymore, ever!

I've been tryin' to pick up a 735207 in Primitive Bone, but hadn't had any luck until some came up on fee bay. Seems like feast or famine.

This one sold for $168.00 in spite of the fact that it was rather rusty on the off side: This one I was just outbid on in the last second, it sold for $124.50 Finally, I won the bid at $92.00 on this knife: The second and third knives may be rust specked as well, but I can't tell from the dealer's photos. He has one more listed that is currently at $52, but who knows? Maybe it'll sell for $71.00 if the trend continues!

Here's the other one, but he may have more. It closes Thursday at 7:30 PDT.

A little less than perfect, as there was some minor speckling that I mostly cleaned. Really nice bone, though, at a great price! The last of the four sold for $108. Happy to add it to my PB assortment!

I don't know about connections, but I have truly been blessed by this wonderful gift.
It has some thick Primitive bone too, I got to see a great collection of primitive in person, and I'm more than proud to have one in my collection.
