That’s the first one that I have seen...you would think since it was a lower dollar knife..there would be more around.
Then on the other hand.. they probably got used more...beat up more, then tossed.

The ones marked Edgemaster are very common.
Very similar painted black handle, but for some reason the Presto marked ones are harder to find

Here's one you don't see too often:a Schrade switchblade letter opener with advertising.Easy to date this one.

The only one I own.E-bay had some real deals if you knew where to look. I used to find more daggers listed as letter openers. When I first got into e-bay I used to have a limit of $20 on anything I bought.That changed when a guy beat me out with a bid of $25 for an Abraham Davery Bowie circa 1850 that was listed as a letter opener!
The Schrade was a good one;set me back $15 with shipping.

LOVE IT!!

.....it looks identical to my Henckels..but in better condition.
