All About Pocket Knives

Anyone got a 2020 Case Crimson Bone 6318 they’d like to sell? Trying to help a friend out who’s looking for one - and, yes, gotta be a 2020. Thanks!

Very recently, this "stockman" pattern or style of pocket knife arrived in a group or lot of pocket knives that I purchased. It now becomes my latest example to be posted under this topic or thread. I did NOT purchase the group or lot to obtain this particular pocket knife. However, it did turn out to be a keeper and it did get added to my general, pocket knife accumulation. It is a Kabar, three blades, one tang stamp, 3 1/4" closed, two springs, "stockman", pattern or style of pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp, MISSING the "Kabar", says, 1092 (over) U.S.A." It appears that "Kabar" may have been ground off. Possibly a FACTORY SECOND? The main blade does NOT have a half stop. The main blade does NOT have an opening snap. The main blade does NOT have a closing snap. The secondary blade does have a WEAK half stop. The secondary blade does have an OK opening snap. The secondary blade does have a GOOD closing snap. The third blade does NOT have a half stop. The third blade does NOT have an opening snap. The third blade does NOT have a closing snap. This pocket knife is in GOOD condition. This pocket knife received a VERY minor cleaning. I took some pictures, here it is.

Thanks D.L. ... I mainly was focusing on Camillus, Queen, Buck, Boker and Schrade when out hunting for new knives, and it turns out that Kutmaster made a 'purdy good knife ... So, now they made the list...

I had this one out the other day to check on it as I suspect it has celluloid handle material. Seems to be OK yet. It is a Cattaraugus 3 and 7/8 inch stockman #35141. The master is a little short, but it sharpens up good and still has snap. The Cattaraugus handle code says that it is "white fiberloid" handles which I take to be their proprietary version of celluloid. Still looks good too with the slant grooved bolsters and the bullseye shield.

However, it did turn out to be a keeper. It did get added to my general, pocket knife accumulation. It is an Imperial (D E), three blades, one tang stamp, 4" closed, a long main blade pull, two springs, "stockman", pattern or style of pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, “Imperial (with the crown) (over) PROV. R.I.", with a vertical "USA" on the right. The shield says “D E” with an arrow through it. The handles or scales do have a mottled appearance, but NO damage. The main blade does NOT have a half stop. The main blade does have an OK opening snap. The main blade does NOT have a closing snap. The secondary blade does have a WEAK half stop. The secondary blade does have an OK opening snap. The secondary blade does have a OK closing snap. The third blade does have a WEAK half stop. The third blade does have a GOOD opening snap. The third blade does have a GOOD closing snap. Overall, this pocket knife is in VERY GOOD condition. This pocket knife did require a little bit of cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.
