I got some shots this morning while we were walking for coffee. CSX yards in Cumberland.
There does not appear to be any graffiti?
Oh, there's always plenty of that. Where do they get all of that spray paint?

Last night we went to the Cumberland Christmas Tree Lighting and I talked my nephew into walking down to the train station. He wouldn't pose with the train, but I snapped some pictures.
Sorry to report the steam engine wasn't in service. But The Grinch was there on horseback.

The only thing I can figure, cudgee, is his dad works on the railroad and maybe he tells him not to play around trains, for safety reasons.
More nice shots, David.

Another WMSR 1309 vid, journey from Baltimore to Cumberland. It starts regular rail service next year, from May to October. I bought tickets to ride on May 28th, the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend.

Very much enjoyed your video. Few sounds are as evocative as that of a train whistle in the distance.
