Missed that one JP, beautiful knife, congratulations on adding it to your collection.

Picked up a mint unused 4 line Camillus 3 3/8" cracked ice stockman, Sword Brand stamp main, 4 line stamp both secondaries, really a sweet little knife, lot of blade in a smaller package. Always wonder how a knife makes it 70 plus years being unused.

Don't now about that Lyle, missing quite a few Farmers Jacks, but I know where they are. :D :D

Here are two four liners with nice stable celluloid handles in as found condition I grabbed in August. Both have seen a bit of use. The the multicolored handle's colors really jump when light hits it just right. Does anyone know if a list has ever been compiled of different celluloid handle patterns?

Lama, haven’t seen or read anything about cell handled patterns . Only have these 2 - 4 line cell covered . Nice snappy little things. The cell is holding up well it seems . Have seen some very colorful stuff over the time .
Sorry , Not much help. Interesting question though .
And that yellow and Orange one is Cool !

Thanks Edge and JP. Somewhere in the recesses of my dim memory I think I ran into a description of different celluloid patterns other than Candy Stripe and Christmas Tree, but can't remember where.

JP- Is the green handled pen you showed a Sword Brand? I just received one just like it, if so. Maybe there's more pigment or something in the mix, but the handle material seems denser than the ones I showed. It also has a mat finish as opposed highly polished. I wonder if this would make a difference in its stability? That Jack in the background is pretty sweet also.

The Green handled pen is a 4 line ,stamped both tangs . Don’t mess with these much .prefer bone,Ebony and Pearl covers . But it is a dense material . Seems to be holding up okay but do keep them separate. The Jack is a Sword brand with Etch . Just got it and very happy for 45 bucks !
Good luck with your collecting. Take care . ::handshake::

That No line looks to be 1946/47 if I remember correctly. Doglegg would know exact years but think that’s correct. Definitely pre 1960 and a hard model number to find . Great catch ::tu:: ::tu::
The #70 is another harder to find pattern # . Great catch there as well .
