Great looking knife to me, so minimalistic in the lines and clean, uncluttered. Like that spear too. And great color in the handle. Niiiiiiiiiiiice. Good backdrop too.

I have one around here somewhere that looks just like it but has lined (or grooved) bolsters.

I was cleaning out my picture file and was about to delete this one that I shot earlier today. I don't know why but the knife almost appears to be glowing. It was cloudy today but it must be a trick of the light. I fooled around with the editing a little but it still looks like it's glowing. While it doesn't show the knife very well I think it makes for an interesting picture.

Love to see that. Whip it out. I must say it's stout, solid, gator snapper, and of course the bones like they don't make anymore. Oh, and this is my favorite clip pt. ever. Because it's thin, narrow behind the edge, so easy to sharpen, wicked sharp, good long pull, swedge. Great design. And functions perfectly after seventy plus years. Yeah, dazzle me with one that has flutes. Sounds great. Thanks again.

Something ethereal about that shot Charlie, a ghostly blade, a wraith visiting the woods.

I've been looking through my photo files for hours (didn't realize I had so many knife photos on this machine) and I'll be damned if I can find a pic of that Camillus. I thought I had a picture of every knife I own, I even have pics of knives I don't have anymore. So, that means I'm going to have to go up in the attic and drag out my storage lockers. I have two gorilla box foot lockers with all of the knives I don't have room to store or display in my home office/man cave. It originally belonged to my Great Uncle Chuck, the man I'm named after so it got safely stored in one of those lockers. I need to get a photo of it for my records anyway since it looks like I don't have one. In the meantime here's an Aerial cigar jack (1912 -1950) for your viewing pleasure.

BTW, thanks for kick starting my grey matter....I couldn't come up with the word "fluted" when describing the bolsters even though I knew it was the word I was looking for. ::facepalm::

It just turned out that way. I'd like to figure out why in case I want to do it intentionally some time.

Thanks John. It's just about the same size closed as a canoe, a little over 3 1/2" closed. I was lucky to snag it on flea-bay a couple of years ago for a real good price. The handles are jigged black synthetic (Delrin I believe) and it doesn't appear to have ever been used or sharpened.
