I’ve been a longtime fan of Smith & Wesson pistols and revolvers. Looks like they may be moving into new territory - I believe this is their first release since moving operations to Tennessee. Maybe going to give Ruger and Henry some competition in the lever action rifle space. I got this from them today - apparently the first in a new product line. If it’s like the rest of their products it will be top quality - it will be interesting to see what’s next!

Guarddog. I do like the 365. My neighbor has one that I've shot quite a bit. Better trigger than either the Springfield or Glock compacts in my opinion.

I recently discovered that I can swap barrel and magazine and convert my S&W M&P Pro from 40 to 9mm. Have about 350 9mm rounds downrange so far with no issues. Pretty cool. Two cals, one gun.

Rick I have to let my son in law know about the barrel he just bought one.

Cool. I think the barrel was $150 and the mag $25, both from Brownells, made by S&W, not aftermarket. If your son is in the DFW area he is welcome to try mine.

Picked up at the last show Uberti Walker .44. One big hunk of steel.
Blackpowder fun. 50gr of 3f roundball or conical bullet. The Colt Walker continues to be the most powerful handgun ever issued by the military.

Walkers are great, but heavy, used to have one. Bad design on the rammer lever catch though. Mine would drop the lever with every shot, had to have a rubber band around barrel to hold it up.

Yup well known issue with the loading ram. Have shot this one and no lever drop. Maybe got lucky.

Sorry, did not mean to imply I got the rifle. I got the email announcement with the video attachment. It’s only available now in .44 Magnum. I have a .44 Magnum S&W revolver, so it’s tempting. I love lever actions but that’s not one of my favorite calibers to shoot. It’s tempting but think I’ll wait to see what calibers are next.

I have a Walker repro as well. I've been gravitating back to blackpowder lately so I may bust out the walker.

Arthritis in the hands and degenerating discs in the back and neck have hit me hard over the past couple of years, so I have had to make some adjustments. Gone are the 44 Magnums and 454 Casull from my collection and I have recently gravitated toward lighter and less recoiling pieces. I pictured a Bond Arms Rawhide derringer in 327 Federal magnum a while back. A recent pickup was this Charter Arms Professional in 32 H & R Magnum. It is all steel, walnut grips, made in USA (Shelton CT) , lifetime warranty, 7 shot, with a 3 inch barrel. The finish is black nitride. Shoots great after about 60 rounds so far. The 32 Mag has some pop, but my usual load will be the 32 S & W Long which is very pleasant to shoot in this one. I have another Charter Arms, a Pathfinder 22LR which I have been shooting for years with no problems. Shoots just a touch to the right with the fixed sights provided. Now, got to make a holster.

I shot a S$W .32 Hr magnum shooting Bullseye for a while. Those 32 S&W long wadcutters are a pleasant and accurate round. Good memories.

I am going to try that. I have some 100gr wadcutters, and 78 gr roundnose bullets on hand to work up loads for. Does not take much powder to propel a 32 cal bullet.

Very nice! I have quite a few BP revolvers, and a couple conversion cylinders. Lots of fun to shoot!

They are indeed fun to shoot. My Ruger Old Army is one of the most accurate pistols I have ever shot. I have not gotten a conversion cylinder for any yet and continue with traditional black powder and round balls. I don’t shoot the revolver’s as much as my single shots mainly since cleaning BP revolver’s a lot more involved to clean.

Engraved a Cash Capper to make it a bit different. For the non-muzzleloaders viewing,
the capper dispenses the percussion caps for your rifle or shotgun

Today I received my March 2024, NRA's, American Rifleman magazine.
I love the cover and thought I'd share. I haven't read the article yet.
