Great toothpick from a maker you don't often see for that pattern, I'm particularly digging the handles and the F&F looks good for such an old celluloid knife. I believe that Ulster is kin to a non-BSA model I picked up this week. Photos forthcoming when the sun is back up.

I picked up this nice Schrade 25OT folding hunter the other day for a couple of sawbucks. Doesn't look like it has ever been used. The sheath is in new condition too.

Great fines OC those big Schrade light my fire.

Had a banner yard sale week this week. Found an H. Gerstner & Son's machinist chest and a few knifes to go in it.

Buck 692 circa 1996 near mint (not pictured as it had too many tardy's so banned from picture day JK - Forgot to take pic.)

I'll post the Joseph Rodgers, Case Fly Fishing, and the auto in seperate threads because I have some questions that I hope some may be able to help with.

The tool chest and the stag Rodgers both have me drooling. The wallet must be hurting today but I'll bet it was worth every dime.

Actually wallet not too worse for wear. Chest and knives all for under 2.5 Benjamins. the Fly Fishing knife was 1.5 of those so I think I did pretty good.

That's quite a batch! And all at once! I got this Schrade 160 OT in yesterday's mail. I was visiting folk in Minnesota this summer and got into a knifemakers' supply house in Mankato. I bought two sets of ironwood and a few other items and am hoping to try my hand at re-hafting two fixed blades this winter. I must admit that I am somewhat intimidated, but maybe I will get through it. So far my big successes with three-dimensional objects are building and fixing fence. Wish me luck! Meanwhile, my first image would not be accepted by AAPK software in a horizontally oriented configuration. I went back and rotated it to a vertical or portrait look and it went through ok. This has happened to me before and I don't get it.

Discounting the Case Fly Fisherman's knife, since it came from Ebay, you had a fabulous day of Garage/Yard Sales Shopping. All that for under $100.00.

The rest of us should be so lucky.

That kind of stuff does not reside in garage sales around here, although I sold two similar tool chests and a cigar box full of pocketknives in one of Sarah's garage sales years ago.

Knives from the North Blade Collectors meeting and one from Gun/Knife show in Duluth. The Duluth gun show knife is a Boker whittler. The fishing knife is a Utica. The large pearl lobster is an early Ulster Knife, near unused. The two cattle knives are both Ulster Knife. The pearl whittler with the Aluminum bolsters is a Simmons Keen Kutter. The celluloid pen with the scissors is a Ulster Knife and finally the tortoise pen is a IXL that i'm guessing is 1800's.____Dave
