The knife is great too Zed, love that handle, the antler end, the curve of the blade. Everything is cool about that one and great pictures you're posting.

That's not an ugly knife BH. It has character, the beauty of usefulness and durability tested by time.

Leaves are definitely pretty but that knife is definitely NOT ugly. I bet a lot of folks here would like to accompany that ole gal.

Actually I don't equate old timer and beauty, wonderful old toters that they are, but as a old gal told me one night in Anne's tic tac lounge to each his own.

I guess if beauty was the same to everyone we would all be married to the same girl.

The dog and I took a walk along the creek this morning.
Cute knife, pretty leaves, and an ugly photographer!

Great shot Squach, love the colored leaves this time of year. And the fall knives people bring out. Keep them coming, won't last for long.

Squach you motivated me to snap a couple more before they fade while I was raking leaves today. Great fall to all I hope, is here, now if it will just not rain on the trick or treaters. Happy Halloween everyone.

Glad to see you post again and great pic's. What a variety. The knife and drawing is masterful, the skeletons and knife is perfect for Halloween, and top looks like some old marbles. That bottom one is a knife I've never seen before. Thanks.

jmh58,
Thanks. It's a 1986 #63032 with second-cut bone. (And Japanese maple leaves.)

Well, I have nothing as exotic as Japanese maple leaves but I'm just testing my handmedown iPhone camera and what better picture to take with it than some of my handmedown knives from my super generous knife benefactors. The backing is some needlepoint embroidery kind of plastic frame I found useful as separators in my aquariums.

Bottom knife is a first generation William Henry pearlT10P this was the first run of their now famous Lancet series. Probably one of the simplest most beautiful knife they made. I paid $125 when they first came out. Try to find any William Henry Knife for under $300 these days. Took me 2 months to find one when they first came out. Had to have it shipped from CA all brfore you could go on the internet. This was all done by phone calls and emails.
