Charlie and Gus, Simply stunning sub collections. Gus you have exquisite taste in knives. Charlie I like how you pull these sub collections together, and no it’s not too early to be thinking Christmas. I use to start listening to Christmas music every August to start finding inspiration for my advent sermons, plus I really love Christmas music.

That is a special collaboration I did with K’Roo (Willem O’Kelly). I saw this block of Dyed Karelian Birch Wood and it immediately made me thing of Vincent Van Gogh’s Starry Night. I reached out to Willem, having a few of his creations already and doing one earlier collaboration with him (my poison dart frog delta jack (orange and blue with the frog shield in my pics). I pitched the idea to him and we worked together to make it something special. Most of the idea was mine, with the damascus, crescent shield, etc but Willem helped with the best pattern and talked me down on some crazier ideas for it. He said it was one of his favorite builds, also being a fan of Van Gogh. My wife and I have also started collecting some serious art and this was just such a special build for me. It’s one of my favorites in my collection for sure.

In fact now that I think about it the two blue lambfoot K’roo’s were kind of a special request as well. The first one not exactly what I had asked for due to maybe a miscommunication with the intermediary at that time. Also a concern there may have been cracks in the bone around the pin. He did the second one almost to my specifications except for the fullered bolster so both of them are not exactly what I wanted LOL. The first one was up for sale here after I took a pass initially and got the second one. I then eventually bought that one too.

Love the cigar examples, those are amazing.

I think I’m at the end of my collection, just a few I may have forgot to post and one i must not have a pic of yet so I’m using the sellers pic on a few of these. I am hoping to get my hands on an AG Russell Pinched Peanut and found someone willing to sell but they’ve gone silent on me so…

Those 112s are standing tall and proud Rick .. The feathered one and the two to the right and just above it, get my attention!

Spectacular and focused groups you've shown us, Gus and Charlie, you guys are dedicated knifers, and I have to throw you into the mix also, Rick, you posted a bit fewer examples but stunning nonetheless. Thanks for the treat guys.

I’m not trying to collect all the Case/Bose collaborations but I’ve been hunting for the slimline trapper for a while and guess what I found today! Score!
