A couple for this thread, 3 3/4" ebony and a Pocket Eze patttern #622787. There is another of these pictured on pg 18 of this thread, they each have "Indianapolis paint and Color co." Etched on the master.

Picked up this Robeson to add to my gunstock whittlers. Says it’s a 632374 (I think - the last digit is hard to read). It has jigged bone covers (probably Rogers bone), 3-3/8 inch closed length. I don’t find that pattern number in any of my references but I have a couple other Robeson patterns that I don’t find either.

Maybe Charlie Noyes or someone will recognize it.
This one needed a good clean up and some lube. I got the walk-and-talk tuned up, but still need to work on some of the spots.

Beautiful old Robeson, Ken.
I would call that wormgoove bone.

Thanks David. I’d call it worm groove bone too, which is one reason I’m thinking it’s Rogers. Rogers was a premier supplier (maybe the originator) of worm-groove bone up until the 1960s.

Thanks Joe! It’s a shame no one seems to be making them. It’s a classy pattern IMHO.

Nice Lloyd, I missed this one until just now when I came here to post one of my new Robesons. That one is a beauty, I like the gunstock pattern, but only own a few.
