I just picked this one up recently-- 3 1/4" (closed) E.C. Simmons Keen Kutter..I'm adding it to my EDCs..

3 1/4 inch perfect size for that style of knife, any idea of age. Whatever it is, great find.

Here's a McIntosh Heather with a broken blade I just picked up.. other than the broken blade it's not too bad.. it has alligator snap and no side play.. I haven't decided if I'm going to get the other blade fixed or possibly have someone make it into a single blade knife...

I suppose this qualifies as a barehead jack.

Here's a knife from Charles Lamb's collection (Chuko on BF) that I was fortunate to get from his son after he passed away. Innocent & Sons, 3 1/4 closed.

Very cool Mike ... almost looks like a folding dirk with a pen blade but obviously not a true folding dirk at that size... Was Innocent & Sons from Sheffield??

Thanks Mike and Lee. Lees, yes, Sheffield. Tweedale's has a couple of references to Innocent and Son(s). Charles posted 1860s and late 1800s for when it was made.

Thanks. I've seen one other knife by this company and it also had long slender blades compared to what we're used to today. Can't beat that old Sheffield stag.
