That's our Jerry, he cares so much. His passion for folks is amazing. He has been like a father to me personally and gives so much that it has to hurt. Since the first time we met some years ago, when we were both down on our luck, he offered me the last bit of food he had. I remember one time he gave me his last bit of gasoline to get the rest of the way home. His heart is as big as the state of Texas! On second thought,,,,,,,,,WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP! Love ya Jerry

I think Jerry is right in the middle (the way many guys from our era are); give you the shirt off his back if you were in trouble and asked politely for help, but would kick your @&& if you tired to take it! OH

As Telly use to say, "Who loves ya baby"! Moose is a very special guy and you'd have ta go a long way to find a friend like 'em. A true Jar-Head through and through. Tuff skin on the outside but inside a heart of gold! The internet friendship has been stellar and so wished we lived closer to pal around a bit, but it is what it is...simply put, he's good people!!

NOTICE TO AAPK MEMBERS
This was already reported back in the summer of 2012, but it needs to be mentioned just to protect the innocents that don't know how jerryd6818 operates!

I had found my 1st #72 Camillus, with a broken coping blade, Jerry offered me a blade, I declined. Then he told me to round off the broken blade so it wouldn't snag my pocket and use it as it would cost more to have it repaired than it might be worth. OK, did that and went on my way. A few weeks later a mysterious package shows up at my house. Inside was a great #72, all 3 blades great shape and a note from Jerry. We were having some kind of a family get together, at least I remember my son and so-in-law were there when I opened the package and they were really impressed that a man known only online, through a knife forum would be so generous!

You need to keep your eye on Jerry, watch him close!
