I had my eye on this one from the get go.....My guess was around $300.....went for a bit more!!
Wonderful knife though...

Johnnie I had that one on my watch list as well. I knew I couldn't afford it but I still enjoyed watching the bids roll in. I doubt that you'll find one better out there.

I can't make out the tang stamp. Who made it ?

If I could find deals like that I'd love yard sales too.

the tang stamp on main blade reads, " MADE IN
USA "

no other identifiers...scales are hard rubber?
it is a well built knife...break a nail opening the blades...

I M I can't make out a tang stamp on that jewell. Who is the maker ?

Philco - Its an Imperial, the stamp is almost gone.

Gringo- that looks to me like it might be made by Camillus.
They were known to use the MADE IN U.S.A. stamp on some knives.
The pattern and handles look like some I have seen Camillus use on knives made under the KENT brand for Woolworth stores.

Ed Holbrook says in Official Scout Blades that your knife was made from about 1931-1939.
Looks like a very nice example.
Is there a can opener blade that is not shown in the picture?
