Been awhile since I posted a POS so here's a Mini-T from Paki Stan. Although, I gotta say, Ole' Paki is doing a little bit better these days.

Hate to end the "diem" on a negative note, so allow me to hearken back (albeit loosely) to the prior 'military' them and present this AG Russell, War Eagle Blades (WEB), Yellow Composite, made-in-China Mini Trapper. Top Notch FnF, Superior-Grade W/T, all Stainless fittings (no brass). eBay find (sportcolbs); my total cost (incl $6.95 s/h + $1.01 sales tax) = $23.46. Worth every penny! ::nod::

Thank you my fine feathered friends for separating the wheat from the chaff. I probably would have bought one because it has the "Queen" name on it but now I don't have to waste my money. I appreciate you fellers falling on your swords for me.

I'll see your Curly Maple and raise you some factory floor boards that Floyd so graciously gave to me. Thanks Floyd. She's a beauty.

Too rich for my blood...I fold. ::doh::

Anyone know what kind of wood that is on jerryd's FB207? Looks exotic; but, would they have used an exotic wood for factory flooring? Inquiring minds want to know. Whatever type it is, it sure is pretty!

You got me by the short hairs. I don't have a clue what it would be. I just know I like it a lot and really appreciate Floyd's generosity.

Here's a pic of a different FB207 I found online.
Case FB207.jpg

The wood on jerryd's looks more exotic/highly figured than this one, but either way, that's some pretty fancy looking wood to be on a factory floor...maybe the wood is actually from the floor of the Executive Offices on the top floor of the Foster Brook facility, not from the floor of the manufacturing space?? ::hmm::

Case calls the color of this 4207 "Ice Blue", but it's what I've always called "Baby Blue", "Powder Blue" or "Cornflower" and it seems like an appropriate color for a Sunday in Spring (which also happens to be Mother's Day).

A new day is on us? Geez Louise. I guess that means it's time to post another Mini-T. How 'bout I pollute the thread with a Frost, made by Paki-Stan. ::barf::

Maybe this is common knowledge among collectors, but the first time I have seen the 07 pattern referred to as "The Rancher"

Certainly not "common knowledge" in this house. Must have been an SFO. Bob, that one right there is a real dozy. The stag just makes the knife.

jerryd: that's some gorgeous bone...very nice! ::tu::

j bob: I believe the Stag Wharncliffe Mini Trapper "Rancher" (5107W) is one of only two 107s Case made with CV steel (the other being a yellow Delrin 3107W)

I don't think I've ever shown my Mini-Ts from Case's 2004-2005 "Tradewinds" series (which are also part of my Diamond Shield collection). So, I'll start with this one: Adobe Yellow Bone.

Another Tradewinds series Mini-T...I didn't get a box with this one so I don't know what Case called this color, but it looks like "Watermelon" to me.

I can live with Watermelon. I love the color on both of those.

Let me add my pick of the day to the thread. I was a bit trepidatious about buying this one but it has grown on me. The longer I have it, the more I like it.

Ironic, perhaps, but it's interesting just how many knives I've purchased somewhat hesitently or with "trepidation" that I later developed an unexpected attraction to/affection for; some of which I now consider "favorite" knives even. Not hard to see why that one grew on you, jerryd.

jerryd's showing some great variety of Mini-Ts; I've got a few more of my Case Tradewinds Series to show, so unless there's any objection, OCD Monkey is insisting that I stick to that theme for a few more days (and nobody wants to upset the Monkey, especially not me!)

This color is called "Pueblo Sky"

That's a very interesting color on that one ~Q~. When you accumulate Mini-Ts it is, after all, all about the handle colors with a sprinkling of shield variations mixed in.

Today's offering.
