Next is a Camillus Elephant Toe, or Sun Fish, which ever you want to call it. It has the Four Line Camillus tang stamp on the pile side tang of the

Smitty that is a super nice Scribe and Elephant toe. One of my favorite patterns is the Elephant toe and I don't recall ever seeing a Camillus Elephant toe outside of a book or old catalogue. Makes me think they are somewhat rare. Sweet find! ::tu:: ::tu::

Nice #1! Hopefully nobody used it as a hammer (as someone did with my short line #1).

::dang:: Oops! 🔨 As the old saying goes; "if all of your problems are nails, all of your tools start looking like 🔨hammers" ::hmm:: Or at least that was what the pervious owner thought. ::facepalm:: I have pretty good luck with finding short line #1s, I whish I had the same luck with short line #72s ::disgust:: I know they are out there... except J.P. and old Smitty keep beating me to 'em 1st :x

Thanks Dan, the #67 has really grown on me and I was always a sucker for a large rope knife ::nod:: I like the sheep's foot profile.

Here's a well used whittler I just found. Though worn, all three blades are tight. The main has good snap opening and closing, while the others need help opening, but snap closed. All three have taken a wicked sharp edge. The handle is in pretty good shape considering someone used it as a hammer. There are some chips, but no cracks. It appears to have the 1941-1946 stamp, but is not listed in the 1946 catalogue. Any information about the model would be appreciated.

Very nice Lama... ::tu:: ...I'd call it a Jumbo Whittler made well before WWII, a rather rare knife in any condition.
