Thanks guys, for $30 you can't go wrong. I have made these for people and helped kids make their own. Great project, great mod, great tool to have when you're done. Infinite possibilities. Cold Steel gives you some fabulous raw materials to work with allowing you customize your own tool any way you can imagine.

Good picture sunknife, but hard to take a bad one with those as subject matter. I especially like the middle top one. Size, scales, pattern

Thanks doglegg. That top one is a cheapo Rough Rider whittler that had very washed out looking whiteish stag that I dyed to get that red stag look.
That little sucker has amazing snap and sharp blades and has become one of my favorites to carry.

I keep hearing good things about the RR's. That whittler might be a good place to jump in. You did a great job on the scales.

Blackberries are invasive take over weeds, and everywhere up here. Plague. But those in my photo are raspberries carfully cultivated in my yard, so they're cared for, babied, weeded etc. and not invasive, and not everywhere. I think you might be talking Blackberries, but I could be wrong. I grow raspberries and am constantly trying to get rid of the Blackberries in the place because I think the birds bring them in and seed them. I think.

Yes Sir it was blackberries I was referring to. I like to eat both but raspberries, mmmmmmmmmm.

It's stamped C.K but as fair as I can find out these was made by Italian company G.C co ,It's overall 9inches I guess it's as big as a Schrade lumber Jack

Here it is next to a standard sized sabre Barlow that I 're handled the coin is a large 1977 jubilee coin .
