Found this Randall Hall & Co. junker at a yard sale. Bought it because the pattern is a bit odd. It's got kind of a swell-center/gunstock/sleeveboard thing going on.

Somebody sure used two of those blades!

Either one them got miles to go and work to be done. Keep'em sharp and keep'em handy.

Found this Imperial USA contract knife at a local gun show today.
Cleaned it up a bit. Not a bad knife for ten bucks.

Slim pickins at the flea market yesterday. I did pick this little guy up though. I like the groove running down the middle of the MOP covers, and the tang stamp also. Irving Cutlery, Germany

Bruno, Let's see: a Queen, an E/O, with a bail, and beautiful old bone. To me that knife is great.

Stopped at the little junk/sport shop where I find a lot of knives today on a material run and picked up a Benchmade auto (9051BK AFO 11)mint in box with sheath, a SOG marked Trident elite assisted open, appears to be a auto rescue type knife (I don't know squat about modern tactical knives) and a Buck 110 2 dot for a little over $100. I know enough to know that's a good deal. ___Dave

The best of the Bucks IMO. The quality 440 steel with years of that Buck HT experience. My EDC 110 is that same knife, I even prefer the blockier frame to the newer rounded ones on both the 110 and 112.

And a Benchmade auto plus a Buck alone for a C-note is always a real nice haul. You done good!

I've picked up a few Buck 110's in the past few years of different years and eras including the auto. I don't actively seek them but I get them when the price is right and I like them. I think I'll carry this one for a while. I'd like to carry the Benchmade too but they still aren't legal to carry in Minnesota although you can own them. That knife feels really nice in the hand. You can feel the quality kind of like an old Winchester rifle or a 1920's New York Knife folder. ___Dave

Those are all nice, but that Benchmade is awesome. I've been contemplating an automatic myself here lately. I don't need one mind you, but here our concealed carry license is a CCDW (concealed carry deadly weapons) since I have my license I can carry an automatic. Don't need one, but.......

Just picked this up at a local pawn shop, NOS, even has original receipt!!!

Found a Schrade 881Y in new old stock condition. Original oil still on the joints. Thinking it's circa 1975 but not completely sure. No bar code on the box and supposedly 881Y pattern started 1973.

Any ideas on year of manufacture. Also any ideas on blade material? Stainless?
