Thanks doglegg, appreciate the nice comments always.
Hey Rrider, that is some sweet bone. Looks slightly greenish on my screen, very nice, sweet old knife.
You too gsmith, great to see you posting, love seeing your pile, always have some striking, beautiful oldies. The whittler here has great bones and the condition, and love the tipped bolsters. Great to see your pics. Thanks both of you gents for adding to the eye candy.

Niiiiice Redbone selection.
I only have one pattern with the iconic pre-1980s Case Redbone: 6207 (of course

).
Here's a few that I'll be selling soon.
From top to bottom:
1976
1974
1973
1972
1971

Thanks a lot gsmith, very much appreciate it. Don't you know it, I concur wholeheartedly, and you nailed it on the eras. I love the sixties and seventies bone about as well as any, but nothing wrong with the XX era stuff too, and thanks again.
Ohhhhyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, that is a batch. Wow Q, blushing like the color of that bone. Fabulous group and once again a museum quality array of goodies.
Royal I appreciate the mention, thanks for noticing and what would a trigger tripper be? Is that something that makes your gun go off? Figuratively and metaphorically? Thanks again.
DaninMI, thanks for the feedback. I didn't really find them, they found me. Charlie Compagna had the Barlow and the 18 Stockman that really put the gravity on me. They sucked me right in and I was caught. Also kind of cool knowing they came from a legend in the knife world too and that's worth something. Plus compared to what you pay online for a new GEC these days, the old Case were a steal and there they were, just sitting there at the OKCA show. What a golden opportunity and thanks for all the sellers who parted with these beauties.

And the list goes on and on and on and onnnnnnnn. There is an old timers saying,"That youth is wasted on the young." I suppose for many reasons the quality, and style, and variety, material - even the competition to make wonderful knives has been compromised. So it is very easy to identify a knife of those days. The special craftsman's bone handles and patterns is a lost art. That makes the role of collecting the challenge worthwhile, always a surprise. Compliments to all the pictures as part of the history.
