Here's a S & M that has grown on me. Haven't been a big fan of the worm-groove handles but I'm getting there.

You are both very 'warm' .... I will never be able to afford a genuine "Lanny's" so made one myself converting a Buck 112.
Inspired by Glennbad and when I PM'd him, he was generous enough to give me some personal pointers on dismantling the original Buck.
Also taught myself to silver solder the bolsters by watching a very shaky Tony Bose video on YTube.
The handle material is Mulberry - very similar to osage Orange when it's finished.

Old friend and blade brother Q gave me this years ago. One of the tightest smoothest lock backs I've ever seen. Beautiful stag too, and great blade shape. Spearcliffe.... or something like that. Great knife from a great friend and brother from a different mother.

Being an Uncle Henry and Old Timer collector... I have to admit my favorite single blade lockers are these two Cold Steels. One with the CarbonV blade and the other a San Mai stainless. They not flashy like some of the others posted, but they feel good in the hand and make for awesome EDC knives.

2 different I*XL lockbacks;both Celebrated Cutlery.
Carl Schlieper lockback. Nice stag but tang isn't ground properly and snaps back quickly from half open position(and I have the scars to prove it).
Frederic Remington etched folder.Not sure who made this;possibly Precise in Japan.Very well made.

This is the only sowbelly I own and, although I don't collect sowbellies and haven't really looked around much for this pattern, it's the only sowbelly lock back I have ever seen...also one of the few single-blade models.

Funny, I've moved totally out of lockbacks - all of my EDC knives are slip joints. My entire collection is traditional Case folders with the exception of (2) large frame hunting lock backs, which I really like for what they are used for:

Vintage Lockbacks are some of my favorite pattern knives, that and English jacks. Here are 2 lockbacks that I picked up.

Henry Sears stag and a S&M bone handled one with a great fixed guard.

Not sure, I know that Henry Sears company had knives made for them in Germany plus in the US and am not sure if they made any themselves. Goins eludes to manufacturing but am not sure.

I have an Ellenville knife that is similar but with a different lock and have seen Northfields and others like it. Pics are of the Ellenville.

I've been invited by Glenn Klecker and Mark Zalesky to spend 10-days with them at the BSA National Jamboree in July where Klecker knives are displaying their products. This event only happens every 4-years and is attended by Scouts and leaders from all over the world. I've been interested in Glenn's designs since he was at CRKT and Leatherman and I felt like I couldn't be side-by-side with him for 10-days without one of his knives in my pocket so I pulled the trigger on one of his Cordovan lockbacks (or as he calls them Klecker Locks).

Routine maintenance on the collection turned up some lock backs I haven't really looked at for awhile. I've probably posted all of these before at one time or another, but as long as I've got 'em out, well, I guess I'll run 'em up the ol' flagpole for another look-see.
