Here is a Norvell-Shapleigh Hardware Co fish jack made in Germany by(?).Horn scales;fluted bolsters;unusually shaped shield,and half stops on both blades.A gift from my sister-in-law who told me it belonged to her grandfather.An unusual pattern that you don't see very often.

Man that knife is amazing! That's one of the ones I wouldn't be able to put down for very long. You're sister in law did you well. I've got some pretty cool in laws as well that have gifted me a couple old family knives. Some real treasures. Congratulations on that one.

I wonder who the genius was that designed this knife

I guess that they figured that aluminum was such a good conductor, why not??

With Bolsters, Liners, Pins and whatnot is an Aluminum Handle ALL that bad?
Doesn't trip MY trigger in any case.

Sure. Why not? You might need an emergency substitute for a fuse and not have any pennies in your pocket.
