Thanks guys. I've found that old rotted tree stumps keep calling me to them when I want to take a knife photo. They are always easy to find, and are good at holding the knife up while I take a picture, and make for a nice background.

Antique yellow boys knife

Great shots Tony and Ivoryman!

Here is a nice shot I took yesterday of a stag gunstock.

I find this shot very appealing Rookie. Fine contrast from the light reflecting off the blades and bolsters against the dark wood as well as the dark stag. Enlargement, as usual, brings out the real quality of this photo.

Blue flowers and Boys knife

Ivoryman, nice summer pictures and a nice knife. Why the model is so called "boys knife"?

No idea here Eustace, just what the tube says. Guess it was a popular style for boys at one time, like the Tom's Choice Barlow maybe? Who knows?

I think it's called Boys Knife because of the simplicity of it. Beautiful shot!
