I really enjoy these outdoor pictures. Moose are such a neat animal.

Joe, the first photo could almost pass for modern art. I find the 2nd photo very evocative, giving some physicality to a breeze.

I haven’t cut any persimmons open yet, but I’m anxious to see what ours say. Decent flock of turkeys Quick Steel.
I've not seen many around here, yet. Just the occasional lone hen.
One winter we had 13 in the neighborhood; 2 hens and 9 chicks!
Went out just after 8pm last night to get gas in the car.
Saw 5 deer not far from home; 3 on my way out (one of those was a spotted fawn)
and two headed back home, plus a grey fox ran across the road.
We often have deer right in our yard, too ....
I've not seen many around here, yet. Just the occasional lone hen.
One winter we had 13 in the neighborhood; 2 hens and 9 chicks!

Ah, forgot I've had plenty of turkey activity here at my local park.
Couple gobblers, then the flock and then there was this madness that 3 were creating. Come to find
out they were dusting themselves, aka self cleaning.

Thanks for that, i knew someone would know, we don't have any cats that big over here. Although years ago we had a massive storm go through with flash flooding. We found a feral cat that would never had seen the light of day washed out of an underground drain, it was nearly as big as a Labrador dog, with teeth that could have ripped your throat out. Went out last Friday with my brother and brother-in-law. Fished an eastern tidal river and caught plenty of nice Stripers in the 18” to 22” range, threw them back as that season is closed. We were targeting Specks but the water is still a bit warm for them, caught a few but none of keeper size. I also wanted to try out my new pickup truck - pulls my boat just fine. OH

Doc - that photo with the shotgun and skull really is a beautiful tableau. Great photography!
OH - looks like a fine day on the water. Too bad the season is closed on stripers. That is a very nice outfit: truck, boat and motor.
My wife and I were out Tuesday - we caught lots of white trout (Sand Sea Trout) and kept enough for supper, but no specks at all. I have never caught a striper. I know that some folks around here do catch them, but not me!
OH - looks like a fine day on the water. Too bad the season is closed on stripers. That is a very nice outfit: truck, boat and motor.
