Squach without a canoe??? :shock: :lol:

This shot's probably been wore out from overuse in the EDC and "in the wild" threads but I like how it came out.

It happens occasionally Tony. My Ol' Yeller Soddie Jr. runs a close second to my Ol' Yeller Canoe. Gotta' give numero dos some pocket time every once in a while. :lol:

I like the way your shot came out too. This is the first I've seen it. ::tu::

Tsar, Perhaps a late afternoon or evening shot? I like the soft light lending color to the setting.

Thanks, Squach and QS. Charlie, I've always been a fan of the soddie. Both Case sizes are great work knives in Delrin, and the slimmer bone versions of the Jr. (especially my chestnut CV) make excellent EDCs, plus they vanish into the pocket. Besides, more pockets = more knives. Yeller soddie + yeller canoe = best of both worlds. ::tu::

QS, I took it in the early evening with a fair bit of trees behind the camera to diffuse any direct light. I've found it to be the best time for snapshots. Direct, straight-above sunlight here is a little too harsh (and creates way too much glare on shiny knife blades) for knife photography. ::td::

We take a two mile walk every day, usually in the morning. Here's another morning walk shot from this morning. Even got the canine muscle missile in background....unintentionally....he saw some minnows and went to investigate just as I snapped the shot.
Like the color and the pooch.

Tsar, In Holywood many directors try to use the late afternoon light. Best for handsome photography. That time of day is widely referred to as "the golden hour."

Two nice shots Mr. Squatch. I hope viewers are in the habit of enlarging all photos. Your two really "pop" when enlarged.

Thank you gentlemen! ::super_happy::

It was a beautiful morning and I thought the sunlight filtered through the foliage (the trees are really starting to leaf up) lent itself well to taking photos.

Wonderful pictures. I like the way your knives pick up a little green from the foliage. And great looking knives.
