Yowza! Nice haul Ray! Fourth photo far right fourth knife up from the bottom in the clear plastic box, is that a schrade walden 832 with wood handles?

Please pardon me for not responding earlier but I somehow overlooked your question. The 1970s is about the oldest. I saw a USA or two but I believe they were both used.

A couple of unused Queens. Wish they were bone but there not. Oh well they are still nice.

I found these 2 knives today, in my own house. I hope this still counts as a "knife find".
Two lovely very well made Advertising knives. These can be dated ! Dates are on the handle ! 1955 & 1928.
3 1/8" Ulster/Knife USA, "Trade Ulster Mark" etch & "73P" Senator Pen, Inland Steel Safety award 1955.

And, a 3" Coffin Pen knife, "Minstrels 1928" with "Stainless Steel" blade etch & tang "Stainless/Cutlery Co/New York City".
A Camillus made knife marketed under the "Stainless Cutlery" branding. This is quite an early use of stainless steel in a USA knife. Earliest i think was early 1920's.

Very Fine Knives, a treat to own, the quality feel is still present.

Joe from what you told me, I would say yes that counts as a "Knife Find" or a "Knife Reunion"
Looks like a sweet find, they look close to mint.

Thanks Gary. Yes, neither has been used. The Stainless Cutlery knife is close to 90 years old ! Both these knives have been carefully looked after by their owners from the very first day they were acquired new.

Ulster etching on blade is superb.
I'm hooked on older advertisers, especially if they have been put away and never used.

If you "find" knives you forgot you had then you must have a TON

Kerry. your two Queen knives are very nice, their unique Delrin makes a practical handles, every bit as useful as the Old Timer and Uncle Henry knives from the same era but the Queens seem much harder to find in that nice of a condition.

KJ, something about old, mint advertisers and award knives that fire up the imagination - I've been accumulating several of the Buck brand - seems they were popular in the 1970's and 1980's for higher end award knives. I sure like the much older knives you "found" there! OH

Thrift store finds from yesterday:

First two letter openers, no makers marks but branded with older SAAB logos:
Then a German pocket knife (the black one) and three Swedish pocket knives from three makers in Eskilstuna:
So I had a good day yesterday!
