Tommy, that may have been the dimensions of a 2"X4" at one time but now they are 1 1/2" by 3 1/2".

Don't forget the 1/2" of warp in the boards because they weren't dried correctly before being strapped down to the pallet...

Today I added this pocket knife to my CAMILLUS 72 variation family. Another, my fifth, McGrew ARKANSAS, 3 blade, swelled center, 3 5/8" closed, "HillBilly Classic", "whittler" pocket knife. It came with the box. It is is near mint condition and required no cleaning. The box is in excellent condition. I took a few pictures and here they are.

Excellent pick up Skip. And it is clean, really NOS. I have a soft spot for those as my dad lived in Glenwood until he was 12.They then moved to Texas. I still have kinfolks there but the ones I knew are all dead now. Again congrats. ::nod:: ::nod:: ::tu:: ::tu::

Received this earlier in the week. Another addition to my 72 clone collection. A Camillus 1047 Scout Swell Center Whittler. The seller I bought this from sold feminine products & makeup, and only had two knives, this being one of them. I had asked the seller if she happened to have the box. As good of condition I was hoping they had the box, but no dice.

Today I'm adding this CAMILLUS 72 variation to my collection. It's a CRAFTSMAN 9494, 3 blade, swelled center, 3 5/8" closed, "whittler" pocket knife. It needed cleaning. I cleaned it, took a few pictures and here it is.
