Very Cool Daddy Barlows, bigbore. I had no idea that knife shield with a knife shield shield was used by that many other brands. (I only have the Camillus-made AGR CM-2.)
Here's my latest Barlow acquisition...S&M Burnt White Bone #69, sheepfoot blade with long striker pull.

Few old ones and 1 new barlow, all with jigged bone handles. Jigged bone not as common as saw cut or smooth bone on the vintage barlows.

A beautiful selection of vintage Barlows, John. What is the spear-point with the long pull? I couldn't quite make out the stamp...

Thanks Tony, its only marked High Carbon Steel, I think it was made for Sears by Schrade.

Comparing with what is a newer Schrade-built Barlow, I think you're right. The pins are correct and from the angle the bolster looks right. I don't have a spearpoint Schrade to compare blades but everything else matches up. It's a real nice-looking Barlow!

Hey Matt, I very sorry about my posting earlier on pg#38 talking about the "wrong way Z" as EVERYTHING is just the opposite Sir,,,I got confused until I ran across that Sam'L with an original Catalog Picture,,,So Goin's Book is showing the Correct "Z" trademark too. I am not able to revise/edit my Post about the "Wrong way Z's" on Page#38 or I would do so. Thanks everyone for not getting Mad at my mistake, I do Sincerely apologize
Killer knife Matt and the "Z" is going the CORRECT way, LOL and its got that Beautiful Extended Bolster too Not to mention a curved look and a blunt style blade,,,Really a neat piece bud
Kind Regards,
mark

Finally found a stag S&M Barlow with spear point blade to complete my little S&M #69 sub-collection.
He seems quite at home with his brothers...with a very happy father!

Q, really like those S&M, beautiful barlows.
Added a couple old ones this, both with sheepsfoot mains, a bone Boker and a Schrade Cut Co. The Schrade has been customized with notches.

Picked up another Queen 50th Anniversary Barlow, really love the bone on these knives. They were made in 1972.

Tony, I usually find these for around 50 bucks or so, I've seen them go for more but I won't pay the higher prices.

Here is a well worn Keeneredge Barlow made for C.M. McClung Company in Knoxville, TN. Keeneredge was one of the McClung trade names. Anyone have any idea who may have manufactured this knife for C.M. McClung?

Nice find, shape of bolster and pin placement I'm thinking Camillus may have made it, pic of Camillus and a K-BAR.

Man I love these Barlows

Keep showing them fellas! Here is an oldie. I would say hard to find. An early Landers Frary & Clark with Bakelite handles. Bakelite was commercially available at the time that LF&C started up. Iron bolsters and liners. Spear point master and pen secondary. That pen has been sharpened to where it looks like a wharncliffe. The master did not get used nearly as much as the pen. Nice old Barlow

Hello, I have had a few of these CM Mclung knives in the past. The one I am most familiar with is the 4 1/4" white bone Large Cigar pattern w/ Brass screws. I have seen this particular knife several times and it was made by Miller Bros. Now thats Not to say that ALL CM McClung knives are made by Miller but some were. I am sure other US companies made Mclung knives too. I hope this helps!!
Kind Regards,
