All About Pocket Knives

Five mint USA's, all the stainless knives are etched, and one of the trappers has the muskrat master. It has been a long time since I have come across something like this without buying an entire collection.

Wow.. those are nice and I am jealous!

I got the SAK and the Kabar at one of my weekly stops for a decent price. The other 14
Came from a flea store that I ran into to meet a friend. All 16 are unsharpened and nice.
A few bolsters need a little polish and that's it. It was a good day.

A Maher & Grosh.

A Three blade Jack ! I have never seen a vintage one before. Very neat and i'm sure it is rare.
Every M&G knife i have handled has felt 'a cut above' with a sense of masterful quality. M&G was a mail order company but they somehow got the manufacturers to do their very best work.
My sample size is small, maybe only about 15 or so M&G knives, so if my impression is less than accurate i would like to know.

They are well made knives, but I don't know who made them.

I think miller bros made them, but don't quote me on that I've never even handled one but they sure look swell.

Have had a dry spell as of late but picked up two today. Schrade Walden 204 electricians with Cocobolo and a Case 6215SS mini gun stock both in great condition.

The Schrade-Walden handles are beautiful !
Are they the original factory wood handles ? i'm asking because i cannot recall seeing such attractive wood on Schrade-Walden knives.

yas sir! Of course a littler mineral oil brings out the shine

Nice looking knives, rexstubbins. Lots of blade left on the Schrade.

Here's another Maher & Grosh. 3 5/8".

The maker looks more like Schrade than Miller Bros. but I really don't know.

Antique store find. Schrade Walden U.S.A. 863, pretty certain its bone. It has the Swindon system. I think it's mid 60s
Nice all around patina and pretty full blades.
Does the shield help date? It's glued I'm pretty sure. I see no evidence of pins on inside of knife.
