All About Pocket Knives

I found a CRKT Buku in the truck is drive a lot.
The most likely owner is a kid that hasn't been seen in better than a month.
It is a large folder with frame lock. Seems quite sharp.

Yard Sales, Estate Sales, Big Box Stores, and Flea Markets - you guys are cleaning them out and hoarding up! Nice hauls. OH

Found this little 4 blade canoe at the little flea mkt. Kind'a odd ,Hammer brand repop seems to be well made . $10.

Had an interesting morning at the Flea Across Florida yard sale. Got 6 pieces, nothing spectacular but a couple are interesting. Also had a conversation with a knife dealer of some sort. He had a lot of new knives, a lot of zombie killers and Taylor brand Old Timers. Time to move on.
Found the Camillus 16 in a bag of shell handled scout/camper knives. The seller was a marble collector, Berryb and I have been talking about marbles for a couple of weeks. There's a lot to learn about glass and clay marbles, way too much for me .
I was looking at a fellers display of antique fishing lures when I spotted a small Western fixed blade. He said it was a "bait knife", the tang stamp was all but gone, then I noticed a box with the 5 little knives in it, we made a deal and here they are: From top to bottom they are a gold tone 1 3/8" closed COTTI over ITALY, the 2nd is a Colonial 2 blade with half stops, 3rd is a HAYWARD, seems it might be called a ladies pocket knife, a finger nail knife (a lobster pattern?), 4th is a little Frontier 3 blade 4034 (Imperial)no blade loss, 5th the Camillus 16 and 6th is an unusual advertising knife. It is marked EXECUTIVE/Made in USA and then the L.T. Dobey Co., Inc. Seems they were an automotive parts distribution company in Bridgeport Conn. This one opens by pivoting the brass cover 180 degree, then the brass cover pivots back into its original position, exposing the stainless blade , kinda' unique .

Stopped by my local Case dealer today; lady that runs it was getting ready to open up a box from Case. She found an assortment of different patterns in Walnut jigged bone - had nicely threaded bolsters and an unusual shield. The color reminded me of 1970's Case knives and the jigging of Rogers style, so I bought one (can you believe that?!). Nice, old style fitting and snap too. OH

That's really nice Colonel. What's the closed length (it looks like a medium jack) and the pattern number? I like it a lot, even if it is a Case. I might have to put a stick in the budget for one of those.

OH I don't blame you a bit for bringing that one home with you. I like the looks of the bone handles and those bolsters are the bomb!

Is USA stamped on it anywhere? I just am'nt sure it's an old Hammer Brand.
Don't recall them ever stamping the main blade either....
