I picked this one up today. Can’t find much doing an Internet search. Was wondering if anyone has ever heard of this maker?
Arizona Customs has one by JD Brooks that looks somewhat similar to yours and it is for sale for 200 dollars.
You could check their website for others that you are looking up, just look up the maker by name and see if they have any that they have sold or are selling.
The Cutting Edge is also a very good place to check prices.
Good luck.

By gosh, you're right, Chief, I get "J D.89. something something O K S", so if we can figure out what the 2 "somethings" are we might just have the maker! Actually, knowing this gives much credence to Mark's suggestion of "JD Brooks"!
GOOD eyes, Chief!

You have 2 solid looking fixed blades, Gus, and although I am no expert, they look to be quality knives. Very nice! Also,

to AAPK, even though you've already made over 80 posts.
