Earl, The stag is 1st. Class. These new knives from GEC seem to have some of the nicest stag I have seen.

J2S - The Elk #73 w/clip blade you posted in the EDC thread is one of the nicest out there!!!

Here is one that just arrived...............these KSF pocket slip sheaths are excellent!!

...the stag and cocobolo on the latest 73's are super and the bone Northfield is not too shabby either.

WelderBob - Really nice #73, wanting to get one exactly like that myself. The ringed bolsters
and handle materials on these latest #73's are top shelf.

the mail man was sure good to me today they came in a couple days earlier than i expected but thats always good 2 of them are tidioute and 2 are northfield un-x-ld and one bulldog made by great eastern the one tidioute has grizley bone handels the 2 un-x-ld and the bulldog have nice stag handels and the last one is a tidioute the blade is stamped pattern production final the handels look black or dark gray bone with nice jigging

here is another bulldog by great eastern its a whittler with stag handels i know that bulldog dont belong here but it has some nice stag handels that goes with all the other stag and this is a pic of the back handels from the knives that i posted earlier this is a awsome thread with all these great looking great eastern knives

mumblypeg you're correct that is a Queen pattern whittler made for Bulldog Brand....and bigdaddy those are mighty fine stag handles that you received............

thanks guys and yes that whittler is made by queen i had to go dig up the box to make sure i was just thinking that the bulldog muskrat is made by great eastern so i was just asumming they both wrere but i should have known i got the boxes and the bulldog i was talking about was the congress it was made in 1983
