Got these last week...The Colonial is brand new. The Boker whittler is cool. The Robseon is used but still decent. The folding bowie is probably Indian or Pakistani, but still pretty cool.

Really interesting old knives. I like that Robeson pattern and that Folding bowie is ripe with character. ___Dave

Dave you're on a roll. Nice group. I love those older Imperial knives. Got one or two very similar to that one. They have some of the best steel I've ever used.

Well it's a repost but it applies!

The SAK is an adventurer NOS that went straight in my pocket. The electricians knife is a 1976 and I'm still cleaning it up. The baby doctors knife is in 6.5 stag. And that's the haul for today.

I haven't posted my finds all winter but hit a yard sale and got one of my favorite finds not a GEC type of hit but a real user Camillus long line Barlow with sum fine steel and sum delrin sawcut

Can anyone give me a value on this old Scharde Office knife. Had anyone ever seen one like this? ftd

You'll likely get more hits in the switchblade subforum. A lot depends on the condition of the covers and the blades.

In near mint shape, I'm thinking $150-200 anyway, but that's just a stab. I've been wrong before, just ask my wife.

What do the blades look like?

Glenbad, blades are worn but still in good shape. Still works as a switch blade assist open. ftd

Bought these two today at a Gunshow in Fayetteville, both NOS. The Buck had the nylon pouch in the box, but no traditional leather case with the Craftsman folding hunter. OH

Great finds OH. That Craftsman is obviously Camillus--made, all Craftsman with that shield were basically Buck 300 Series clones, (also made by Camillus 1972-'86). If you have access to a Buck #317 Trailblazer compare them side by side and you'll see what I mean. Again, great finds.

Camillus also had a self branded version, the #26 w/Stagalon-type handles, but that one had hollow ground blades. The #317 had flat ground blades, but the frames were identical in size and shape. It's hard to tell on your Craftsman whether it has flat or hollow, but like the others the frame should be the same. A common misconception is that the sheath for a 5" #110 Folding Hunter will work with these frames, but that isn't true, the knives are slightly longer than the #110 so require a different sheath.

I'll say Kerry - great finds. I think you will like the 06247 - I have one in my EDC rotation and like it quite a bit.

Baykeeper and Dogg - did some comparision with my later model Buck 317; obviously the same knife with a couple of minor differences. The Buck 317 has slanted bolsters, no handle pins, and the main blade nail nick is higher and more centered (that nick is nearly hidden by the secondary blade on the Craftsman in the closed position). OH

That is KSH (Knife Score Heaven) right there pal!!

Funny how things go; on Saturday I came across my first Craftsman, American Eagle Series folding knife with A.C.A. Edge but no box or package (posted a few posts pack). Today I found one still unused and in the original box (with the instruction sheet and leather sheath). This sure appears to be a Schrade LB-7 lockback, made circa 1975. OH

OH, I think not a Schrade LB7. LB7s top bolster flattens out where this one curves up. Camillus maybe?

David (Edge), thanks for your observation - you got me thinking, looking, and comparing. I have one Schrade LB-7, after side by side comparison the Craftsman is obviously not the same knife. I did some on-line research and it appears that my knife is the Sears Craftsman version of the Imperial Frontier "Double Eagle" series Big Horn Lock-back #4815. My knife appears identical in every aspect from the pictures I could find of the Big Horn on-line. Thanks for leading me in the right direction! OH
