Anyone who cruises the "Knife Finds Of The Day" will probably remember Tim (basser5) posting this picture of his garage sale finds last weekend. When I looked at the picture, my knees got weak and I started to sweat. He's done brung home a Camillus 72 from that little excursion. I sideled up to him kinda sly like and ask him what he planned to do with it. Asked if'n he intended to keep it. Next thing I know, BLAM, in comes a PM from Tim askin' for my home address 'cause he was going to send that devil to me. Well, I didn't want to disappoint ole' Tim, him being such a fine feller and all. It came in today's mail. Someone was an idiot with the blades but the knife isn't ruined. It will make a fine carry knife. Thank you Mr. Tim. It was very generous of you and I appreciate it a bunch.

Lots of generous folks round these parts it seems. I got this sweet little custom made sheath in the mail this week from AAPK members Buck16 and jholcomb. Apparently I'm the victim of a tag team bombing.
As you can see from the picture below, it's a perfect fit for the worlds most beautiful LB 7. I had made a comment recently about how I tend to snag the regular style sheath on chairs and such when I wear them. The next thing I know, the perfect solution is sitting in my mailbox. Those Sand Mountain boys sure know how to pick a sheath cause this one is beyond excellent in both quality and design. I've worn it every day since it got here on Monday. I've already thanked them both privately but here I'll do so publicly........Thank ye, thank ye, thank ye !

This fits right in here because it's an un-official, official bomb. Dave O acquired himself a Camillus #80 (Dressed up #72) and we were discussing it in another thread. All of a sudden, that rascal posts that he's not a Camillus kind of guy so if I would PM my shipping address he would send the knife to me. What could I do? I would never turn down a free knife, especially one as rare as the #80, so I gave him my address.

It came today and it's pretty nice. The tang is worn down on the master blade so there's no snap but the two secondaries more than make up for it with their crisp, loud snap. The neat thing about it is the handles are as rare as the knife they're on. They're a dark brown synthetic and I've only had one (sacrificed for one of the Wallace Rockwell knives) and seen a couple more. The great thing is, the knife helps date the handles. Thank you Dave. It's a special knife and I appreciate it very much.
