That is a fantastic knife Tank. ::tu::

I'm a big fan of Bark River and that one is just about perfect.

Nice looking blade Tank... ::tu::...I like the grind and at 5/32" thick should make a good all around knife.

Thanks!

It's a 1999 W.R. Case Ridgeback Hunter. Blackie Collins design - Trailing point.

Blade Length - 4 inches, OAL - 8 1/2", Blade Material - 420J2 Surgical Steel, Handle - Black Zytel, Weight - 4.2 ounces, Sheath - oil tanned leather.

The earlier versions came with leather sheaths unlike the newer ones which come with a nylon sheath.

I had never seen one, looks like a real slicer.
Here's a custom PH-1 I picked up with Cherry Burl scales and a custom sheath.

That burl wood is beautiful! Very nice! ::tu::

Here's a PH2 with the stock diamond wood scales and a Queen drop point with redwood burl handle scales.

Thanks Tank. Queen calls it golden redwood burl, if I remember correctly.

Call me cheap but this is an example of the handiest little fixed bade I've ever carried. I've had a few of 'em down through the years and they have always taken a lickin' and kept on tickin'. I can only remember destroying one (broke the blade using it as a pry-bar....my bad), all of the others were lost or stolen at some point. I still have a couple that I carry but I'm keepin' this one mint in the box for posterity!

Can't go wrong with a Sharpfinger. I would like one piggybacked on a 15OT.

Here is one that came to me this weekend:A Lamson & Goodnow clip point with fish scaler spine in unsharpened condition. The clip is actually sharp as well. Some staining on the blade and a few flat spots on the edge;five rivets holding the scales in place.Took a stone to it to clean up the flat spots and now it is scary sharp.Fits great in a USA made sheath I bought for less than a dollar(14 sheathes for $12).The knife was a bargain too:$3.
