All About Pocket Knives

Nice haul, Dave. Picked this one up today at a local gun show. From Goins looks like the 1919 to 1941 tang stamp, except the U.S.A is offset to the left and there is a date stamped (1915) to the right. The knife is 5" closed.

Van Camp Hardware Company Indianapolis IN. Was a hardware company started in 1876. They were in business until sometime in the 1980s but stopped the cutlery business about 1960. I have no idea who made this knife. I assume they used many manufacturers like other hardware companies of the day. This tang stamp indicates 1930-1950.

Most of the stuff at the Badger Show, I couldn't afford and the stuff I could afford, I didn't want. Did end up dragging these two home though.

I've wanted a Wire Jack ever since I first saw them. Mike Spors had this one in his pile and made me a fairly decent deal on it. Except for the rust on the blade the condition is excellent.
Saw this one on Don Williams table. How could I possibly pass up a 4-Line, EZ-Open Camillus Jack with bone handles? There is a chip out of the handle and a rocker pin crack on the mark side but the bone looks good, it has half-stops and with the application of a little Quick Release, the blades snap like a gator.

With the liners, bolsters & pins all steel, I'm guessing this is the early edition of the WWII Navy & Coast Guard General Utility Knife.

Love a knife that snaps like a gator, and has bone scales.....and is easy open!
