All About Pocket Knives

As always a lot of nice and interesting knives in use by AAPK members. I just finished packing for a short trip to Darlington SC to hunt turkey's; I packed a Buck 113 to clean birds with, an Old Cutler Texas Jack to carry while hunting, and an Uncle Henry mid-size 834 stockman to carry in my shorts while driving down and back. OH

I'll be in Camden, SC Friday and Saturday, chasing gobblers. They did not cooperate last weekend. As always, one of these Bucks will be with me then.

No other changes to my EDC but this one down in RFP:

I scored this VIC SAK Mechanic in a lot purchase from ebay a while back. The handles had cigarette burns (like some used to play chicken with a lit cigarette resting between their arms.......remember that? ) so I sent 'er in to have the handles replaced and Vic did it for no charge.

For some reason I decided to load this onto my belt sheath today....and I think I'll carry it for a while. I feel so "prepared" carrying this knife.....

Ken, that very knife has been to our neck of the woods......I sold it to Monk last year, GREAT knife!!

WOW, a knife with a great history already. I must write this down.

Neither of these are faves. Both share a troublesome blade. Strangely enough it's the third or "Spey" blade on both knives.

Carried the bottom Case Peanut 6220 to Church this morning.

Got them both in the watch pocket of my Levi's.

This is really more of a sheath or back pocket sort of knife but it was in my RFP today and probably for a couple days yet.

Nice knives fellas! I still have my Case XX pen with me along with my Benchmade mini grip

This knife goes to work with me,almost everyday,since I got it a few week back**** just a tad over 4'' and only 2.2 oz,it's very pocket friendly !!!! favor the ""tip-up"" for right pocket carry__ the clip came ""loose"" this week ?? but,after re-reading some post on these,I found that this is common on the tacticals ( even read about putting ""Lock-Tite"" on all the screws **) anyone do this ???_(thanks to JuneBug,I have a Benchmade Tool Kit) and tightened it up__the S35VN steel was a ""chore"" to sharpen,the first time, but now holds an xxtra sharp edge, really well -- touches up quickly, on a ceramic stick______ ( still carry my GEC's on off-days )

went with the NEW workhorse in ma EDC rotation
worked out great!!!! trimming twine,limbs,branches,and cutting black plastic.

KERSHAW -BLACKOUT
got it tipped,just re-profiled it and put it to work!!!!!!

ha back ta back...........ran to donut shop so called on this one today so far!
