Hi Garry,

That fog can be deadly if driving even though it it is unique and beautiful.
I once drove through 70 miles of ice fog about 8 years ago on HWY 80 outside of Lovelock, Nevada.
Extremely stupid of me. Visibility was limited to the front bumper of the truck at 75 miles an hour. White wall.
Stopped every 20 miles to scrap ice off grill and antenna. Old mast style steel rod antenna on fender. The antenna was about 1 inch in circumference of ice between cleaning and close to snapping off due to wind drag. Crazy.

Ice fog is an interesting read on the internet.

Been real cool today, the high was 44, a good afternoon for going to the woods. This little feller came easing through the clay pit this afternoon. Two does gave him away, they started staring at him long before I was able to see him. .243 did its' job. When I was loading him in the truck the coyotes started howling not too far away. I have coyote pack howling at my place at the edge of town often. As much as I despise them, like hearing that.

Will deal with them one at a time.

Good work Treefarmer. A .243 is a deadly round. My son had the youth model Rossi single shot when he was younger. It was a deer slayer.

Went for a “bird watching” adventure this morning.
We busted ice to set decoys.
The ducks came through so fast in the flooded timber that I barely saw them, much lesss shot one. Up close and personal.

I know all bout them Coydogs the last deer we shot at sunset while we were gutting him out we had a pack of dogs howling at us from the ridge and from down in the bog,kinda eerie.Needless to say that gut pile was gone in the a.m. While we drove out of the wood that nite two of them actually ran across our headlights.

Caught a couple Crappie this morning....this was one that went into the freezer for the next fish fry!!

Finished the day with some cardio rehab!

And saw a 6 pt. buck in the cabin area!

Just incredible photos, Tim! Hawks are my favorite birds, so I especially like the Red Tail shots.

Scott - nice crappy! Splitting firewood is good cardio, and I always remember how Thoreau said that firewood warms you twice, once when splitting and once when burning.

Tim, I don't know what you currently do to make a living but I feel fairly confident that if you wanted to, you could make a living photographing wildlife or maybe just nature in general. Excellent.

Beautiful pics, Basser. We didn't see many hawks growing up, but now when I drive across Texas, I see them on every other light pole or fence post. Good to see them making a comeback.

I spent the weekend at the Deer lease. A buddy already had a buck when I got there Friday evening. I hunted out of my blind on Saturday and I got 5 hogs - 3 in the morning hunt and 2 in the evening hunt. I hunted with my Rem 700 in the morning, and my Colt AR in the evening. The first one that morning was this big 250 pounder. I didn't see anything moving on Sunday morning, but another buddy got a hog. Had a great time.
